Azure Antoinette

Azure Antoinette is a poet, spoken word artist, freelance photographer, and youth and arts advocate whose performance poetry explores the ways social media is reshaping humanity. “The Maya Angelou of the millennial generation”, she founded a NYC arts-in-education program providing workshops to excite and educate teen girls on spoken word, performance poetry, and social media in 2011. Antoinette was recognized in Forbes’s 100 Most Powerful Women and was featured in a special section titled "Women Helping Women."

Mayda del Valle

Poet Mayda del Valle has been described by the Chicago Sun Times as having, “a way with words. Sometimes they seem to flutter and roll off her lips. Other times they burst forth like a comet streaking across a nighttime sky.” A proud native of the South Side of Chicago, she began performing her own writing while in high school and relocated to New York City after graduating from Williams College with a B.A. in Art.
