Proceeds from the Study Abroad Scholarship Breakfast will benefit:


UMKC’s General Study Abroad Scholarship Fund

Available for students studying in any discipline and is distributed for immediate use


Harris Mirkin and Kathleen Finegan Study Abroad Scholarship Endowment Fund

Available for College of Arts and Sciences students; an endowment that will continue to benefit students for years to come



Keynote Speaker



Allan Katz

We are pleased to announce that Allan Katz, the former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal, will deliver the keynote address. Katz recently returned to UMKC as a Distinguished Professor in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Bloch School of Management. While serving in Portugal, he saw firsthand how students benefit from their time abroad.
