Join Jazz Friends and make a difference in the future of Jazz!

Jazz Friends scholarships bring the best students to the Conservatory and are a necessary part of elevating the program to higher levels.  Trips to competitions raise the visibility of the Jazz Studies Program nationally and internationally and give students experience competing against the best players and an opportunity to hear and learn from other groups.

Funds from Jazz Friends help underwrite these trips and members have the opportunity to travel with the band to festivals and competitions in Europe and around the United States.  Funds are given for the purchase of equipment and new band arrangements to support the program.

Members receive invitations to receptions for visiting jazz artists and the Jazz Flash, a newsletter that provides information about band and combo performances, invitations to visiting artist clinics, announcements of student awards and other news for jazz lovers.
